XI Encuentro Internacional Investigaciones del Franquismo

The Area of Contemporary History of the University of León and the CCOO archives network through the Jesús Pereda Foundation are organising the “XI International Meeting of Research on Francoism“. The meeting will be held on 16, 17 and 18 November 2022 at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the University of León.

TRACE researchers will participate in the thematic round table 9 “Culture and media: between propaganda and censorship”. Coordinators: Susana Sueiro Seoane (UNED) and Camino Gutiérrez Lanza (University of León).

Announcement from the Archivo General de la Administración (AGA), in May 2014

 The document collections related to film censorship that were produced by the Junta de Calificación y Apreciación de Películas and its predecessors during the period from 1937 to 1977 are now available to all users in the Portal of Spanish Archives. The main collections available through PARES include: Files of Film Censorship; Files of Prior Censorship of Screenplays; Files of the Filming process; Screenplays; as well as Film registration cards.
